Quite a few restaurants, shops, and Red Barn Antiques. Northville is 20 minutes north of Canoe Repair Shop LLC.

If you have time and an adventurous spirit, continue north from Canada Lake to the "first" and "second" bridges across the West Branch Sacandaga River. Follow Rt.29A to Rt.10 north. This is the highest elevation river valley in the Adirondack Mountains, above 1600ft. You'll see canoe/kayak put-ins at the second bridge. The route of the West Branch Sacandaga is all flat-water paddling from the bridges to "Shaker Place", almost 10, twisty miles downriver. But you can paddle it in either direction! This is the favorite backyard of Canoe Repair Shop LLC. We have some secret campsites along the river. Did we just say that?
